Most cases of gynecomasty do not require treatment. However, if a medical condition (hormonal factors, drug use, other diseases, etc.) causes gynecomasty, then first this must be treated. If gynecomasty causes severe pain and sensitivity or embarrassment, surgery can be an option.
Only in cases of mild breast lubrication or swelling of mammary gland, liposuction method is generally applied. However, if both are seen at the same time and the breast tissue is dense, surgery can be preferred.
Finally, if the patient is very young, it may be necessary to wait a while for this operation. Because the development of adolescents continues due to still change in their hormones. Therefore, it would be beneficial to wait till the end of this development process.
