5 Natural Homemade Baby Meals

Healthy meals play an important role in the development of children. Here is 5 healthy and natural baby meals which are easy to prepare at home. 

Pumpkin and Carrot Puree

Ingredients:

1 coffee cup fine wheat (bulgur)

one medium zucchini

1 medium carrot

1/4 onion

1 teaspoon of olive oil

Preparation:

Peel the shells of zucchini, onion and carrot and cut them into cubes. Lightly sauté onion. Add carrot and mix with wooden spoon for 1-2 minutes. Then pour a glass of hot water and cook for about 15 minutes. After adding peeled zucchini and fine bulgur to the pot, close the lid and cook for another 10 minutes. Finally, mash vegetables with a fork and serve it to your baby.

 

Banana Puree with Semolina

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons semolina

1 teaspoon carob syrup (optional)

one banana

1 tea glass of follow-on milk

Preparation:

Put follow-on milk and semolina in the saucepan and boil them. After waiting for a while to cool it, mash bananas and add to puree. If you want, you can also add some carob syrup.

 

Puree with Oatmeal, Banana and Avocado

Ingredients:

1/2 glass of follow-on milk

Half of banana and half of avocado

1 tablespoon of oatmeal

Preparation:

First, boil follow-on milk and oatmeal in a small saucepan and wait for a while for the swelling of oatmeal. Then, mash banana and avocado together. Finally, mix them all.

 

Puree with Semolina and Chicken Breast 

Ingredients:

1/2 tea cup of semolina

50 gram chicken breast

1/2 zucchini

1 teaspoon of olive oil

1/4 onion

1/2 carrot

 

Preparation:

Firstly, peel the onion and roast it slightly with oil. Chop the carrot and zucchini in cubes and cook a little more together. Then, pour hot water to soften all vegetables, after waiting a little more to boil, add semolina and close the lid. Following this, chop the chicken breast that you have boiled before, mix it with all ingredients and stir them with blender. Finally, let it cool down a little and serve.

 

Puree with Purslane and Rice

Ingredients:

1 small zucchini

a bowl of purslane

1 coffee cup of rice

one teaspoon of olive oil

Preparation:

Wash the rice with plenty of water and filter the water. Let the rice boil with a small amount of water in a small pot. Then, add chopped zucchini and purslane to the pot and boil for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat, add olive oil and let it cool down. Finally, stir them with blender and serve to feed your baby.
