Here is a very practical soup recipe!. It is delicious winter meal and you can cook it faster than the most of other soups.
6 slice(s) of bread (rye or mixed wheat bread), diced
1 large carrot(s), finely diced
1 leek(s), small, cut into strips
1 slice/s of celery, finely diced
1 cup of cream
100 g ham, raw or cooked, diced
1 ½ liters of water or broth
2 slice(s) of bread, finely diced
1 small onion(s), cut into slices

Instructions – How to Prepare Bread Soup
Fry the mixed bread in hot oil until light brown, add the chopped soup vegetables and sweat them a little while stirring constantly, pour in the water or broth and cook for about 15 minutes.
In the meantime, fry the onion with the two diced slices of bread until crispy brown and set aside for garnish.
At the end of the cooking time, add the ham cut into small pieces, the cream and the spices and blend the whole thing with a hand blender. Serve with the toasted bread cubes and onions.
